Puckdoku

Puckdoku is a unique and captivating game. It combines parts of puzzle-solving, hockey trivia, and player statistics to provide a pleasant experience for NHL (National Hockey League) enthusiasts.

Information on how to play the game

Playing the Game: Puckdoku is played on a board, much like the Sudoku grid. In the rows and columns of the grid, players must select a player for each cell that meets both the row and column requirements.

Player Eligibility: A player must have taken part in at least one NHL regular season game in order to be eligible for the team. As a result, for the game, only participants with verifiable NHL experience are considered.

Award/Stat Criteria: In cells where the criteria additionally contain an award or statistic and a specific team, the player must have recorded the award or statistic while competing for that team during the specified season. By doing this, it is ensured that the player's accomplishments are relevant to the club's situation.

Relocated Teams: Relocated teams are classified as a single team for the "Teams Played" category. This implies that while determining a team's history, both players who played for the team before it moved and players who joined it after it relocated are considered.

Franchise Follows Players: When a team relocates, the players' stats are tied to the new franchise rather than just the team's current location. For example, players who were a part of the Atlanta Thrashers before they moved to Winnipeg will be viewed as being a part of the current Winnipeg Jets.
